Posture Test

This is a quick and easy way to test your standing posture. Stand against a wall with your head, shoulder blades and bottom all touching the wall. Your feet should be a few inches away from the floorboard. Reach behind you and slide your hand between your lower back and the wall. Then do the same with your hand sliding between your neck and the wall. If you have an inch or two of space at the low back region and about two inches at the neck, you have a good standing posture.
If you have more space at the lower back, practice standing with your abdominal muscles tightened.
If you have too little space at the lower back, arch your back a bit to increase the curve at your lower back.
