Nearly 500 agency locations in the Commonwealth of Virginia have active CommonHealth programs. Employees of those active agencies may participate in CommonHealth activities at their own agencies or at other participating agencies.
How to get started:
- Your agency will need to appoint a CommonHealth Agency Coordinator. This person will serve as the liaison between employees at the agency and the CommonHealth Regional Coordinator.
- The Agency Coordinator will need to attend a one-on-one training session with a CommonHealth Regional Coordinator.
- Contact Stephanie Glazebrook at 804-267-7048 or email sglazebrook@chp-online.com for details on scheduling a one-on-one training.
- After attending the one-on-one training (at your agency), your agency will be considered “active” and will be eligible to participate in CommonHealth programs.
- The agency should appoint an Advisory Committee to help plan CommonHealth activities.
- Any employee of an active agency may participate in CommonHealth activities- even at other agency locations.
CommonHealth Eligibility
CommonHealth is offered to all Virginia state employees who work at participating agencies and their covered family members over the age of 18 living in their homes. Retirees are also eligible to participate in CommonHealth. |
