The two-week Back Savers challenge is designed to encourage participants to stretch their way to a healthier back. Participants that complete the Back Savers quarterly challenge will receive a hand-held massager (picture) as their incentive.
Emails
There will be six e-mails during this quarter related to saving your back. The first e-mail will be sent the second week in April. Employees can sign up through the CommonHealth Web site. E-mail archives will also be posted on the site.

Do you think about your back when you do activities like biking, swimming and walking? Probably not - unless you have injured your back before. In fact, 80% of Americans will experience back pain at some point in their lives.
The Program (April 1- June 30, 2008)
Participants who attend the program will receive a 12-page booklet featuring program information and illustrations of back exercises and stretches. Each person will also receive a step counter to encourage walking – a great exercise to help save your back! Door prize drawings for back cushions will also be available at all 45-minute and Express program formats!
